Christine Kim

Christine Kim is a nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for patients with skin cancers and head and neck cancers at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. She assists doctors in supporting the health of oncology patients as they undergo treatment or participate in clinical trials. She has 13 years of experience working with oncology patients.

Kim earned a bachelor's degree in social work at the University of California, Davis, followed by a bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of San Francisco. She worked for six years as a bedside nurse at UCSF before earning a master's degree in nursing from UCSF's nurse practitioner specialty program in gerontology.

Kim is a member of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association, Oncology Nursing Society and American Geriatrics Society.

Kim spends her free time shuttling her three children to their activities, in addition to working out and hiking. Her favorite hobby is dancing, even though her moves on the dance floor often embarrass her kids.
